Jaime Anzures
Jaime Anzures Morones (1955-2019) was a prominent Mexican sculptor and painter. He studied Sculpture at "La Esmeralda" INBA and specialized in porcelain sculpture in Japan. With over 90 solo exhibitions across Mexico, Canada, the United States, Puerto Rico, Panama, and Bulgaria, he gained international recognition.
Anzures collaborated on significant projects like the Relief of the Facade of the New Legislative Palace in Mexico and sculptural reliefs for Sofia, Bulgaria. Honored by the Mexican Institute of Culture and CONACYT, he was awarded the "Rigoberta Menchú" recognition medal. With 32 years of professional experience, he lived and worked in Mexico City until his passing, leaving a lasting impact on the art world.
