Valenzuela was born in April 21st, 1938 in the city of Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. He first studied college in the painting academy of the Universidad de Sonora, and later in the San Carlos and La Esmeralda College in Mexico City.

His great technique is evident when he captures nature, just as he has been doing since he began, showing again his great sensitivity.
