Lluis Barba

Lluís Barba, born in Barcelona, studied at the Llotja School and the Center for Visual Arts Massana School. His artwork has been exhibited globally in Europe, the US, Latin America, Canada, and Japan. Barba's pieces are held in esteemed public collections and museums, including the MACBA Museum in Barcelona, the Contemporary Art Museum in Havana, and the Marugame Hirai Spanish Contemporary Art Museum in Japan.

In 2007, Barba gained attention for his series 'Travellers in Time' at Art Basel Miami, garnering media coverage from CNN, The London Times, and The Independent. He collaborated on a music video for Lil Wayne's 'Steady Mobbin''. Barba became part of the Young Masters in 2009, showcasing in London exhibitions. In 2010, he won the Young Masters Art Prize for 'The Hay Wain' triptych exhibited at The Courtauld Institute of Art. His series 'Self-portraits' in 2011 delves into historical and contemporary artists' memories, engaging viewers in social discourse. His work 'The Painter's Studio' was auctioned in London in 2012 by The British Friends of the Art Museums of Israel.
