Jorge Coste

A Mexican sculptor born in 1959 in Córdoba, Veracruz. Since his debut exhibition in 1983, Jorge Coste has participated in 25 solo exhibitions and over 70 group shows. His work has been acquired by collectors from the United States, Canada, France, Spain, Israel, Japan, and Mexico. In 1986, he left biology to fully dedicate himself to sculpture, embarking on a perpetual quest for volume, form, line, texture, ideas, and thoughts. His aim is to convey a positive message, inviting viewers to reflect on the goodness in the world often overlooked.

Most of his pieces are crafted in bronze, but he also works with clay, concrete, fiberglass, and various resins, sometimes combining materials like glass, marble, and metal to interpret ideas
